Overview

Epic Idle Quest 2 ("the Game") is a turn-based idle RPG available as a web application and Android app. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Data We Collect

Google Sign-In

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. When you log in, we receive and store:

• Your Google account ID (internal identifier)
• No email, name, or profile picture is stored on our servers

Game Data

We store your game progress on our servers, including:

• Character data (level, equipment, skills, skins)
• Game statistics (play time, enemies killed, runs completed)
• PvP rating and match history
• Music playlist preferences

Local Storage

The Game stores small amounts of data in your browser's localStorage:

• Font preference (pixel or sans-serif)
• Mobile display mode toggle
• Tutorial completion flag
• Audio volume settings

No tracking cookies are used. No analytics scripts are loaded.

Advertising

The Game uses Google AdMob to display advertisements on both the web and Android versions. AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers (advertising ID)
• IP address
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size)

AdMob uses this data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent preferences. You can opt out of ad personalization in your device settings or through the consent dialog shown on first launch.

Data Storage & Security

• Game data is stored on servers hosted in the European Union
• Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS / WSS)
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond Google (authentication and advertising)

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Request data portability

Data Deletion

You can delete your character at any time through the in-game character selection screen. Deleting a character permanently removes all associated data (items, statistics, skills, skins, and PvP history). Deleting all characters effectively removes all your game data from our servers.

Children

The Game is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
